Mary Jane Nealon is a registered nurse, poet, and freelance medical writer. She is a graduate of the Warren Wilson College M.F.A. Program for Writers. She is the recipient of two fellowships from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, Massachusetts, 1995-1997. In 1998, she was awarded a fellowship from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation. She lives in Jersey City, New Jersey.
