Kate Colby

Kate Colby is author of seven books of poetry. She has received awards and fellowships from the Poetry Society of America, Harvard’s Woodberry Poetry Room and Rhode Island State Council for the Arts, and her work has appeared in numerous journals and anthologies, including A Public Space, Boston Review, New American Writing and Verse. She grew up in Massachusetts and was a founding board member of the Gloucester Writers Center, where she hosts an occasional reading series. She currently lives and works as a copywriter and editor in Providence.
